What is the BBR?
Salomon has just is introducing the BBR. Designed by Bertrand Krafft, (aka: BeBeR) the ski is inspired by the freedom of movement found in water sports, This man knows what he's doing having aleady penned the X-Scream Series and Pocket Rocket.
The BBR ski features a unique "V" shaped design and oversized tip and rocker shape allowing it to float in powder and carve well on piste. With a narrow waist and pintail, a short radius and short effective edge on-piste, it provides the ski the ability to grip harder snow.
There are two models available:
/ BBR 8.9 - 166cm, 176cm, 186cm
Wide surfboard inspired tip / Low profile rocker / Sandwich Sidewalls / Full Woodcore / V-Shape / TOTAL edge reinforcement / Oversized PULSEPAD / Semi twin tip tail
/ BBR 7.9 - 169cm, 179cm
Wide surfboard inspired tip / Low profile rocker / Cap construction (EDGE e MONOCOQUE) / Full Woodcore / V-shape / Semi twin tip tail
These skis provide the perfect balance of on piste performance and off-piste float. It will be the most sought after innovation next season, so get in early !
